Crabbes Creek Cottages can provide you and your guests with a private rural, peaceful venue for your special occasion, which leaves you in the planning seat. If you want a laid back, casual affair, a traditional/cultural event or a themed night the choice is yours. Guests are welcome to deck the trees in banners, put candles around the pathways, hang flowers in fact, to use the property as if it was their own. They just need to consider the time to dismantle when all the festivities are over!

Management will prepare accommodation, gardens, some lighting and outdoor furniture and will help, if necessary, with advice regarding local caterers and contacts for large marquees, additional furniture, photographers and so on.

To ensure the environmental sustainability of the facilities and venue, guest attendance numbers must be limited to 60-70. The Property can comfortably accommodate at least 32 guests depending on their needs and the number of children.

The nearby Community Hall is also available for hire at a very reasonable cost. It celebrated its centenary in September 2008 and is maintained by the friendly community of Crabbes Creek.

The hall has lots of undercover area and a huge fully-fitted kitchen. Tables, trestles and chairs are also available for hire. Please request a form which details costs and conditions. A great place to have organised if the weather looks problematic!

Small groups can also use the property for their classes or group work and also provide participants with weekend or short-term accommodation. Patchworkers, art groups, healing, yoga and sports training enthusiasts, for example, find Crabbes Creek Cottages an ideal way to combine learning, socialising and relaxation.
