Whilst Crabbes Creek cottages are suitable for small families and those with very young children, the House provides comfort, convenience, space and privacy for larger families or those who want to share a holiday with friends, uncles, aunts and grandparents.

The low set cream painted house, set at the front of the property facing quiet Crabbes Creek Road, has 3 bedrooms: 1 Queen bedroom, 1 bedroom with twin King singles (which can be zipped together if necessary) & the 3rd bedroom has 2 singles with room for a foldaway or trundle (i.e. 3 beds). That is, 7-8 persons can be comfortably accommodated in The House.

The living area has a TV, DVD player and CD system. DVDs, board games, magazines and books can be borrowed from Reception. Some play equipment (balls, racquets, toys etc.) are also available for families.

The kitchen in The House has a Chef upright gas oven, a large 2-door frost-free fridge, double sink and plenty of storage. Appliances are a microwave, toaster, cordless jug, electric frypan. Crockery and cutlery are provided as well as additional serving platters and cooking utensils.

There is a laundry and dryer with back door access to the back verandah. Water on the property is rainwater and the HWS is off-peak electric at The House.

All floors are tiled and there is a pot belly stove for winter warmth as well as additional heaters. All bedrooms have ceiling fans for summer and there is also a fan in the living area.

The bathroom has a shower/bath base – not a full length bath – with detachable shower rose. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers (see flat information by clicking HERE). The House’s inside toilet is separate to the bathroom & there is an extra toilet in The Flat accessible from the back verandah. It also has an additional shower.

The long back verandah area makes an excellent undercover entertaining spot and has a futon ready for a nap (or provide additional bed if necessary) and tables and seating. It overlooks a rainforest/creek area and is screened by massive she-oaks and fruit trees.

The large BBQ area is close to the house and has outdoor seating for 18-20 guests. It has 2 folding large umbrellas. Additional cutlery and crockery are provided if you ask at Reception.

Non-peak Tariff

Tariff per night for The House is $185 (based on 2 adults and children under 12 for a minimum of 2 nights) and the weekly rate is $1120 (i.e. $160 per night) which includes GST, tea, coffee etc. and basic breakfast and cooking provisions (sugar, flour, oil etc) in the pantry. Extra adults are charged $15 per person per night.

Tariff for The Flat is flexible for general purposes but used as accommodation, it is $110 per night and weekly rate is $660 (based on 2 adults and children under 12) which includes GST, tea, coffee etc. and continental breakfast provisions. Extra adults are charged $15 per person per night.

Tariff for longer term stays, including monthly, are also available.

Note: To ensure privacy, The Flat will only be available for other guests if they are in the same booking (i.e. friends, relatives etc) as the family/group in The House.
